Baby S 2.0 is a MANGO!

Woohoo, we're at week 19 today! I had a doctor's appointment last night that went very well. My little mango had a heart rate of 148. Lisa seems to think this may mean boy since Ryleigh's heart rate was much higher (right in line with old wives' tales of gender).

Let's take a stab at the old wives' tales to see what "they" predict Baby S 2.0 is, shall we?
1. Are you carrying high or low?
Low! This apparently means BOY!

2. Heart Rate? High/near 170 = girl; Low/near 150 = boy
As of last night, 148. BOY!

3. Salty or Sweet cravings?
Definitely sweet! GIRL!

4. Chinese Gender Chart
This is a toughie.... not sure exactly when we conceived, but it was in November. If it was BEFORE Nov 19, I was 29 so that means GIRL. If it was the 19th or later, I was 30 so that means BOY. It's a toss up!!

5. Skin
Is currently terrible (apparently "sucking all of the beauty out of me"). GIRL!

6. Ring on a String: Back & Forth or Circles?
Swung in a circle. BOY!

7. Morning Sickness?
Nope! BOY!


So.... the old wives tell me it's a BOY! We shall find out in TEN days! Woohoo!!
